Who’s behind Save The Turbos?

SaveTheTurbos.co.nz is sponsored by GetNet, a Palmerston North Website Design company.

We're massive Turbos fans, and when we saw John Knowles' appeal to local businesses and the Manawatu Standard's front-page Save the Turbos feature, we knew we wanted to get involved.

We realised that as a website design company, we were in a unique position to give the community a simple way to make a real impact on the Turbos future. We decided to build and sponsor this website, making it easy for anyone to make a donation toward helping keep the Turbos in the Air New Zealand Cup by erasing their financial deficit.

Of course, time was of the essence. The Turbos have until the end of October to raise enough cash and win enough games to escape relegation. We've worked around the clock and through the weekend to get this website up-and-running.

So, here it is, our contribution to keeping Turbos rugby going strong in the Manawatu. We hope you'll join us in supporting our team.
